Week 9 Peace and War or Relationships

Affirmation:
I am in High demand as I Passionately present the Playbook Series with authenticity from my heart.

Momentums:
1        When I feel the threat of war communicate my honest feelings and be vulnerable instead of putting up walls or attacking back.
2        Stay in Peace internally regardless of what is going on around me.
3        Identify something I like about 2 new people every day.
4        Find 3 people that I play war with and find a way to serve them.
5        Create at least one new win/win relationship that will help me move toward my 90 day goal.

I will write more about Peace and War, but let me just say this was another incredible session and will be an incredible week as I identify myself playing war and make a commitment to change it.

My God, the soul you gave me is pure
The soul you have given me
She is pure
The soul within us can never be blemished or stained
Only the outer shell of the body is corrupted by this world -
but the inner force of the soul is eternal.

Allow yourself to sit quietly as you center your attention on the rising and falling of the chest

Settle in

You may notice that thoughts arise but let your breath become centered breathing in balance and wholeness and joy.

No matter what appears on the outside
My inner soul is perfect
The soul is pure
If criticism arises repeat to youself:
No matter what appears on the outside
My inner soul is perfect
The soul is pure

Next Imagine someone you love deeply
imagine the things you love about this person -
And the things you don’t like so much

No matter what appears on the outside
the inner soul is perfect
The soul is pure

Imagine a close friend

No matter what appears on the outside
their soul is perfect
Their soul is pure

Imagine close family members and parents
no matter what they have done
no matter what regrets you may have

No matter what appears on the outside
The inner soul is perfect
The soul is pure

Imagine someone you don’t like
their personality or actions
Not someone who has caused you serious violence or abuse
you can deal with that later
Just someone you don’t like

No matter what appears on the outside
The soul is perfect
The soul is pure

Allow images to arise
The soul is pure
Notice how it feels to let go of criticism and judgment
Let go of the outer and focus on the inner
Connecting with the pureness of the soul
Yours and everyone around you

You can do it with total strangers as you walk down the street
You will notice the distinct difference between the normal isolation we experience in a crowded room or street
You will Discover a gentleness that arises from acknowledging each person has a pure soul
Despite the outward appearance
The soul is pure
This practice has the profound effect of softening and opening the heart

God begins our relationship with him each day, with His word of affirmation, with His unconditional love, His unquestioning forgiveness, His unfailing support and His life. Blessings are never late. God loves us and creates for us the environment in which all things work together for our good, the environment in which we - can grow ever more caring, ever more loving. See if, for you, it is time to thank God that this is how we are greeted each and every morning of our life.

“Some of you wandered for years in the desert,
looking but not finding a good place to live,
Half-starved and parched with thirst,
staggering and stumbling,
on the brink of exhaustion.
Then, in your desperate condition,
you called out to God.
He got you out in the nick of time;
He put your feet on a wonderful road
that took you straight to a good place to live.
So thank God for his marvelous love,
for his miracle mercy to the children he loves.
He poured great draughts of water down parched throats;
the starved and hungry got plenty to eat.” PS 107:3-5

Sometimes we look at our families, our community, or on our place of employment and we say to ourselves-- "things would be so much better if only Joe would cut x and y out", or -- "if only Nancy would do this or that everything would be fine". Who hasn't heard the old song - if only my father hadn't been so stern, if only my parents hadn't gotten divorced if only my mother had been more affectionate, if only my high school had a better program, if only my boss wasn't such a boob. What holds onto us because we hold on to it?

God believes in you. God believes in you and there ain't nothing you can't do. You can shine because God believes in you. You can shine because God has made you to shine.

Mike the state of energy called peace is pretty weak; consider upgrading your ambitions to the more active state of joy.
